Residential Care Home
For Young Adults

Cleveland HouseCleveland House is a C.Q.C. registered care home, www.cqc.org.uk/directory/1-199250741 currently registered for 25 , offering facilities for adults with learning disabilities, many of whom have autistic spectrum disorders. We have a high percentage of young adults with Aspergers Syndrome, who thrive in the calm structured atmosphere we provide.

Currently we have 2 single room vacancies. Contact us for further information.

We are now also  registered to provide domiciliary care to local people within the community too,and currently support 4 individuals living in their own flats.

Situated on the outskirts of Broadstairs, Kent, opposite Thanet College, our home is tastefully decorated to offer single room accommodation to each of our residents. Each room is furnished for comfort and has its own vanity unit. We have some rooms that have their own ensuite facilities, and some that offer bed-sitting facilities and mini kitchens to nurture independence.

Some of our residents have moved on to Supported Living schemes locally, which we provide support for, and 5 of of our residents currently live in one semi-independent flat within the home, and 3 in another, where they shop and prepare their own meals, do laundry etc, with such support as is required.

A choice of meals is offered each day and are of a high standard prepared from fresh ingredients bought each day, giving a healthy but balanced diet. Individual tastes and special diets are catered for, and a number of residents like to go out, buy and prepare their own meals, which we actively encourage.

A fully equipped modern laundry takes care of  residents washing, and residents are positively encouraged to take part in the daily living routines of the house, such as shopping - cooking, gardening and a variety of leisure activities. We also have a small domestic laundry room where a number of our residents do their own washing through the week, supported as required.
